ANENZEPHALIA – Ephemeral Dawn CD
« Welcome re-issue of one of the absolute best, top 10, industrial records of all time. If you don't have this, your collection will never be complete. In fact, I don't think there's been a record as good as this since then...other than Genocide Organ 'Remember' and maybe IRM's 'Oedipus Dethroned'. Here's the review I wrote for Audio Drudge back in 1996: Despite that facty that the majority of this CD was recorded live ,it lacks much of the outward aggression that dominated their appearance at Festival Karlsruhe. But, even a more subdued Anenzephalia is some inexpilcably intense, managing to give rise to a variety of moods and affections, most prominent among them a rather sever feeling of nausea and sickening disease. Be sure, Ephemeral Dawn will have you squirming in your seat as infectious, power drunk loops, drones, buzzes, and low range, tension building oscillating electronics burrow and worm their way into pores and under the skin. Music this monotone and one dimensional rarely succeeds on it's subtletiess, so it's virtually a requirement that this be played as loud as humanly possible for maximum, ultra pulverizing effect. If, after doing that you still don't agree this is a massive release, come see me and I'll help you pull your head out of your ass. « Bleak, glacial ambience, shifting tonal resonances and low rumbles that slowly and quietly develop, interrupted only by periodic outbursts of deep percussion and intensifying frequencies. »15$

ATROX & STAHLWERK 9 – Wings of Confusion [Earth Listen Vol.3] Split CDR
« Collaboration between these two stalwarts. 4 tracks total, the first starting off slow and unassuming, with about 10 minutes of quiet ‘gurgling’, before the static begins, and the slow, doomy, drugged voice of Stahlwerk 9 enters. It’s at this point, where things start to take shape, and the power of these artists comes into play. The frequencies increase with a churning, grinding intensity, the overall sound becoming more oppressive and thick. The remaining three tracks I suppose could be considered ambient (Atrox himself calls it his ambient avantgarde project), though it’s certainly ambient not in the flowing, spacial sense, but rather in a weighty, bleak, droning sense. As in track three, there is noise here, and when it hits, it hits with a crushing force…though, it tends to dissipate into the distance after a brief period of time. The final track is the quietest of them all….strange, soft pulsations and hypnotic tones spread out over a 21 ½ minute time frame. Lmtd 100 copies. »10$

CISFINITUM – Coniunctio 2XCD
« Cisfinitum is one of the oldest and well-known projects in the Russian industrial scene, and shortly after their well-acclaimed 7" on Drone, Ewers Tonkunst is happy to present another international release of this remarkable project. This 2CD-set contains the tracks from the most gloomy and profound albums of Cisfinitum - "Landschaft" (released in 2001 as CDR by IVB Records) and "Malgyl" (previously unreleased), which have been recorded on 1999-2001. The material has been remastered and recompiled to become the new entity called "Coniunctio." RASTHOF DACHAU – Prison Poems CD
« The first new full length record in seven years, Prison Poems" is a conceptual work about the Irish civil-rights movement of the 1970’s. This album deals with the fate of a handful of young IRA hunger strikers, imprisoned for political affairs, but then simply sentenced as criminals. Most of the text on this album is taken from poems written by one of the strikers - on toilet and cigarette paper with the refill of a biro-pen, hidden inside his body in the years before he died. Confrontational and provocative heavy electronics with hard rhythms and pulsations, persistent, grinding loops, and cold, uneasy analog frequencies. At it‘s best when it slows down and comes off as something Galakthorroe-ish, riding a vibe of isolation and angst, well in tune with the concept and theme. »15$

« Standout new album from this up and coming act. Der Tod is certainly their heaviest and ‘noisiest’ recording to date, with strong, scourging drones and slow, doomy pulsations. The vocals are deep and drugged, very reminiscent of earlier Predominance. In fact, the whole recording definitely takes it’s cue from that project,…gloomy, oppressive and ominous. Recommended! »15$

GRAÜEN PESTANZ / MIASMA - Into The Fire Of isolation CD
« Black Metal deviants Graven Pestanz and Miasma each contribute three tracks to this six-track EP and their styles compliment each other like blood and vomit. The opener from Miasma, "Into the Fire" is a sluggish, dirge-like affair with piercing vocal shrieks and harsh guitar tortures that seem to bekon the listener to the grave. Clocking in at over nine minutes, this one creates an atmosphere of despair that is truly disturbing. Graven Pestanz follows this track and each of the other two Miasma tracks with several minutes of doom-noises such as scraping chains, howling winds and eerie vocal exhortations. Truly a frightening experience, Into the Fire of Desolation, is a trip you will want to take again and again. »

Idéalement, je vais m'en tenir à l'Industriel Old School (à la SPK, Throbbing Gristle, etc), Death Industrial, Power Electronic, Black Ambient et Black Noise.
